Ok, so this sort of comes out of nowhere, but I was just sitting on my couch, thinking about some stuff and I suddenly got to thinking about our moral compass. Now, people always say that we should follow our moral compass, but our moral compass... doesn't that follow the rules and normes of our society? I'm pretty sure that if our society approved of murder then our moral compass would say that it's ok to kill someone. When people ask me how I feel about homosexuality and rasism I always say that we should accept people even though they are different from us.
